About us: The Alliance Française de Sydney is the leading French language school in Sydney, providing high quality language instruction at all levels (complete beginners to advanced), and offering a wide range of cultural events for its members, including the yearly Alliance Française French Film Festival.
Applications:
Applications are invited for a number of casual French teachers to run classes from our range of Adults, Teens and/or Kids programs. The successful applicants will join a casual pool of teachers who may be rostered on for each school session.
Suitable applicants will be qualified, innovative and enthusiastic teachers of French as a Foreign Language. They will be able to demonstrate excellent classroom practice, interest in the care and welfare of students, exemplary use of educational technology in the classroom, and commitment to collegial collaboration.
It is expected that applicants will have:
Certification as a DELF-DALF examiner, and sound knowledge of the CEFRL framework are preferred.
Applicants MUST be available to work on weekdays, evenings and Saturday mornings. It is expected that successful applicants will participate in one teaching staff meeting per session.
You will need to provide a current Working With Children Check Clearance Number prior to commencing employment with Alliance Française de Sydney.
Visa Requirements:
Applicants must be living in Australia at the time of the application.
Candidates must hold a valid work visa or a working holiday visa.
