Which course is right for me?

We recommend you start with our Comprehensive French classes as the most effective way to make progress quickly and easily. Until you have some basic language skills under your belt, our Conversation classes, and the Essentials and French Culture workshops will be too challenging.

If you're wanting to learn the basics for travel around a Francophone country, you can also try our Travellers course.

Placement Test

Our free, in-house online placement test helps us determine the most suitable class for your needs and objectives.

It's quick, taking just 15-minutes, and will give you the confidence of joining the perfect class.

A1 to C2: Our levels

Our course level codes are based on an international framework called the CEFR. These codes - A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 - refer to someone's ability to communicate in a foreign language.

There are exams and diplomas for those wanting to get official recognition of their level.

Prices

Our hourly rate is among the most competitive in the market. Depending on the type of course, you can expect to pay as little as $22.9 per hour for adult courses (before discounts). It's a worthwhile investment in your future self.

When can I start?

You can start learning French with us at any point throughout the year.

We run six sessions of adult classes throughout the year, each lasting 8 weeks.

Our teaching method

Our classes are run entirely in French. The teacher speaks slowly and clearly, and uses easy-to-understand language, gestures and prompts to aid comprehension. Many experts agree this immersion method is the most efficient way of teaching a language⁽¹⁾ . All of our teachers are native speakers of French and qualified teachers of French. They are encouraging, patient, and committed to helping you progress.

Paces

Some adult classes give you the flexibility of learning French at your chosen pace.

Intensive: 8 hours per week
Standard: 4 hours per week
Easy Going: 2 hours per week

If no options are available, you'll likely be learning once-a-week.
